Toquerville Falls, UT – Night Entry & Sunrise on the Falls. [Utah pt. 1]

For the months preceding our trip, my roommate Matt, my cousin Shane, and I plotted out our course across Utah, with the intent of spending as much time as we could off-road, over the coming 4th of July weekend.

This video series is the documentation of that…

In this installment, we begin our trek to Toquerville Falls, a relatively hidden (but increasingly popular) spot in the Southern Utah area… it’s all BLM land.

The trail itself is surprisingly complex, and will definitely require a high-clearance 4×4 vehicle. With multiple water crossings and relatively steep inclines, it proves to be a challenge… but the rewards of finding the falls are completely worth it.

Savoring the sunrise at the falls is a great experience, eating your breakfast and sipping your camp-coffee as the falls crash beside you is something that is highly recommended.

We were fortunate enough to not have any other folks come through while we were at the falls… but with the increasing popularity of this spot via social media and online forums, I wouldn’t be surprised if other side-by-side or overland types may meet you along the way, but that’s no worry, as long as you remember to Be a Good Dude.

Have you seen the falls? Did you enter via the challenging trail, or take some of the longer trails to the North?

Are you planning a trip? What questions do you have?
