I was fortunate to have had the opportunity to live in Joshua Tree, California, straddling both the Mojave and California Deserts for four years, during that time I was able to see these truly incredible sites. In addition to my time in the Mojave, I lived South of the Burgan and roamed from far Northeast Mafraq in the Ruwaished through Wadi Rum and the Gulf of Aqaba, overland. This page is an aggregate of those adventures, experiments in photographing & filming the vast desert landscapes, and studies of the intricate geology that overwhelms the desert.
